IELTS available at Hamilton’s new British Council venue at Wintec.

Interested in Teaching English in
New Zealand or overseas?

Graduate Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Grad Dip TESOL) (Level 7)

You may exit the programme after one semester of full-time study (or longer if part-time), with the Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Grad Cert TESOL) (also a level 7 qualification)
OR you can complete a further semester of full-time study (or longer if part-time) to gain the Graduate Diploma in TESOL.

These qualifications are designed to train people to work with people learning English as a second or additional language. The programme is suitable for trained teachers working in primary, secondary and tertiary education, as well as those with little or no teaching experience, including university graduates and others who are interested in working in this field.
